Coaching Coxswains

Andrew O’Brien, Head of Rowing at CGS, is the author of “The Good Coxswain”, a series of instructional booklets published both here and in Britain for coxswains and their coaches. For ten years he was the presenter of the ‘Good Coxswain Course’ in Victoria, and in that time accredited over two thousand coxswains.
He will present information around the role of the coxswain and specific strategies that can be used to ensure that coxswains are also receiving good coaching.
